Restrict users to web-only office365 access

Hi, with the current covid environment we have a lot of staff working from home, some on their own devices (not company owned/azure joined.)

How can I use 'conditional access' to restrict those users to web only versions of Office365? I want to block them from being able to use desktop clients (outlook for example) on their private device.

I've tried a few different step by steps i've found online, but can't find one that actually achieves this.  Hoping one of you legends can point us in the right direction.

1. Go to the access control page of the SharePoint admin center and login with an account that has administrator rights for your organization.
2. Select unmanaged devices

3. Select the option as per your requirement, it will take 15 to 20 min to process your request.

Thanks Ugra, that's very helpful and fixes part of my issue.  I also need to restrict Outlook to web only (and the rest of office365)
