how to return a value from ExecuteScriptAsync of webview2 control

Hi experts,

I want to read the list of options of <select> element in a web page using ExecuteScriptAsync method of webview2 control. This needs a javascript which is very challenging for me. So I want to have a statement like the following in VB.net

dim myOptions() as string

myOptions=webview1.ExecuteScriptAsync(myJavascript)

I know the select element ID and can be hardcoded in the javascript

what could the javascript be, and am I calling the ExecuteScriptAsync properly for a return value?

Sorry it may be a basic question, but I am not familiar with Javascript
