asked on

How to set up email so I can click on one user group and have them in an email to send.

I am trying to made an email address shortcut that I click on and it places my email address in the To field and the rest of the addresses in the cc field. If this can't be done, then just how to make the address list so I can send an email to all staff at once.

Thanks.

Create a group in Outlook

A Microsoft 365 group is different from a contact group (formerly called a distribution list). A contact group is a set of email addresses that you can use to send an email message or meeting invitation to everyone at once. To create a contact group, see Create a contact group.

Take a look at quick steps on the Home Tab. You can customize the one called Team to always address the message with some names in the To line and some in the CC or BCC. You can even specify a subject line

Wow, I wish I could delete both groups I made. It seems so simple. The Quick Steps seems easy enough, but I tried to set that up before, was unsuccessful, and now it just brings up an email with one user and a bunch of gibberish. I must be rather stupid.

Works like a charm. I can even hover. I mean it's very helpful to have a quick step named Staff and hover over it and can the tip staff, lol. But, it's cool.
