File Explorer not opening

In the office, there has been a problem with our Windows 10 machines. It seems that File Explorer is not opening. When a user clicks on the icon, it just blacks out the screen and nothing happens. I have tried running windows updates but to no avail? Has anyone else had this problem?

Using the Windows key + Ctrl + Shift + B keyboard shortcut can restart the video driver and refresh the connection with the monitor.

Give this a try.

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
If there's errors
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

then run
sfc /scannow
