Does Azure DevOps/Git have the capability to version control MS Office documents?

Git version controls any file where a checkin/commit is done.

No consideration of Azure or DevOps.

Git... is... Git...

Git always works the same, independent of Git hosting OS/Distro being used.

So if you commit a new/changed MS Office document (just another file), then all Git versioning features come into play.

Is there a plugin that allows DevOps "Git" to read this type of file to actually Diff it?
