<p>Win 10...</p><p>Desktop....no folders will open...no shortcuts to folders will open...</p><p>Puts a folder icon on the taskbar...but cannot fill the screen...</p><p>Word, Excel, Autocad etc will open...individual files on the desktop will open...</p><p><br></p><p>Network and Computer icons will not open....Rclick will open the context menu but clicking on "open" does nothing....</p><p><br></p><p>I'm stumped......</p>

Can you quickly try below to start with?
1- Hit the Windows key and search for Task Manager or
Ctrl+Alt+Del 
to select Task Manager.
2- Once opened, Right-click on
Windows Explorer
and then, click
End task
.
3- Then click on &quot;
File
&quot; in the menu bar and click on &quot;
Run new task
&quot;
4- type in &quot;
explorer.exe
&quot;
and hit the
OK 
button.

Desktop  folders not working


Win 10...
