This is a Windows 10 and Office 365 environment.
This is for a remote client in New York (90 subnet); I am in Los Angeles.
The name of the client is John White à it is jwhite
The Scanner ‘s Ip address is: 192.168.90.4 (the name of the server is: Bobascanner)
So, When I ping bobascanner, it would give me the address of 192.168.90.4
From the client’s computer, I can ping 192.168.90.4 successfully
The mailbox of the client is at \\bobascanner\scans\jwhite
I am in Los Angeles
I launch the VPN
Then I can ping bobascanner successfully
I can go to \\bobascanner\scans\jwhite successfully (so I can see all the scanned files from John White).
But John White can not go to \\bobascanner\scans\jwhite
The error message: “The current account has currently locked out and maybe not logged on to”
However, John White has no problems with his Microsoft Outlook (Office 365), Microsoft-Team, OneDrive. All are working well. The OneDrive sync well.
When I go using google chrome, I go to https:\\192.168.90.4
