is bobascanner computer on a domain? the other items mentioned use a different authenticator (AzureAD) and not the domain or local computer. the Jwhite account will have to be unlocked

Bobascanner is a canon Copier which functions a printer and scanner. Its IP address is This New York office uses 90 Subnet.

The other items mentioned use a different authenticator (AzureAD)? please explain about this?

Yes, Jwhite account have been unlocked; accordingly, his email, his M-Team and OneDrive works well.

Sorry David... my bad
Yes, Bobascanner is a computer (Nuc); the canon copier (which function as printer and scanner) is connected to it.

can jwhite now access shares on bobascanner?
the username and password used by office 365 use AzureAD therefor Sharepoint/Onedrive4business/O365 Exchange use this as the authenticator

Do you have access to the server? Point is to see whether it has a path

The issue might be simpler,
The message is as though you are accessing it through a browser
The simple possible issue is to check which TlS versions are supported in the browser.

Looking at the reference
HTTPS:// you have the wrong slashes
Are you sure the thing uses secure connection?

Are you sure there is a web based access?

Jwhite cannot access this:  \\bobascanner\scans\jwhite

But jwhite can access this: \\\scans\jwhite and he can see all his scanned files.
