Password protect folder share to prevent local admin access.
I'm looking for a way to protect folders and files from IT.
Essentially the executive team has "top secret" files that they and only they should access. They need to be shared with each other but they want to prevent administrators from accessing said files.
Needs to be user friendly and remain on premises (EG: no dropbox or other cloud storage solutions). Windows server 2016 (where the files will be hosted) with windows 10 clients.

I told them this right out of the gate but got the inevitable "there has to be a way". So I told them I would do some research, and not finding anything posted this question. I provided your comments to them as more support. In truth it's been a while since I've looked for something or if there was a newer feature out there that I wasn't aware of.
