How can I get this to go back where I can enter the Product Key again?

I recently upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 10. The Microsoft Office 2013 we were running asked for the Product Key. I didn't have that so I tried to login. That failed, then I found the Product Key. But the Activation Screen thinks it's a bad Key.

Now it is asking how I want to activate, but by Telephone isn't available, and it says: "This product can't be activated because the product key is not valid."

Which version of Office 2013 were you running under Win 7 (Retail, OEM, Home, Business etc.)?
How many characters are in your Product Key?
Is it on a Key Card?

Some Key Cards are good for one activation so will need M$ involvement but knowing what you're starting with helps in directing you to the right support.

when you open it , I think it complains about the key, but provides you an option to enter a new one.

logoff if you are logged in and see under the options whether you see the enter product key as an option instead of the sign in.

Did not fully read, the issue might be the key you got was part of a subscription and if you did not renew the subscription, you can not use the ..

can you login into live.com and and see whether the use of office2013 is still authorized or whether you need to upgrade to the newer office 2019..

without knowing what you bought it is hard to say whether you have a valid key.

If on a card:
Some codes on cards are Activation Keys and some are Redemption Codes, depends on the type of Office installation you have what you do to reactivate when you make a substantial change to your installation (such as changing the OS! - Office 2013 is completely unaware of the Win 10 upgrade process so thinks it's been moved to a new PC)
