How can I edit a PNG file given my integrated tools within Windows 10?
Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am interested in learning how to edit a PNG file which brings me to the crux of this question. How can I edit a PNG file given my integrated tools within Windows 10?
To be precise with what I am wanting to do, I have attached two PNG files, namely, Jack's Bistro and Jack's Bistro from Three's Company. Basically, I want to change the Jack's Bistro logo to match the logo given within the Jack's Bistro from Three's Company file. I believe the steps for accomplishing this goal should be simple, but, I have very limited digital picture editing skills.
Any step-by-step guidance given in reply to this question will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
George
If you plan on using it for commercial purposes, (etc) there's a good chance that there may be copyright issues

As far as possible copyright concerns, I knew this would be brought up so I need to elaborate upon the use of this logo. Like many people, I am a huge Three's Company fan who likes being creative from time to time with common ordinary things around the house for personal and noncommercial use. For example, I am getting ready to purchase some plain and ordinary paper lunch boxes from eBay and place the self-created Jack's Logo on them. Just to re-emphasize, these paper lunch boxes with the Jack's Bistro logo will not be sold or commercialized in any way. Instead, they will be used for carrying my lunches in when I am at work and nothing else.
Hopefully, I have explained my objective in a way that makes sense and does not arouse any ethical suspicions. If further clarification is needed, I will respond back right away.
In the meantime, I look forward to reviewing any feedback germane to this fun project which I am looking forward to embarking on.
Thank you :-)

Great post! One other thing...George wants the small, second arches (top and bottom) to be removed. I marked your post as Helpful for now. Will be a Solution when you remove those two arches. :) Regards, Joe

Thank you, everybody, for taking the time by going over my question and offering your suggestions. To be perfectly honest, I was very impressed with the guidance and illustrations given by Joe and Paul. I continue to be deeply appreciative of your unconditional willingness to share your knowledge, insights, and expertise with me. As in feedback given in the past, both of you target your answers specifically to my question which always means a lot and certainly circumvents much confusion with respect to the primary goal.
In closing, I have and continue to feel very lucky and fortunate to have the caliber of professional advisors , like Joe and Paul, who take the time to take a personal interest in my question. Such a personal touch makes me feel like you are both right there with me to walk me through whatever comes up. That instills so much reassurance and confidence needed to get through projects, both, small and big.
Thanks again for being there :-)

What do you see as the difference between the two? Just the colors? Or something else? Here they are, side-by-side:
