It should be.  I've not heard or read anything to suggest it isn't.

Thanks,

I ask because I am helping a staff member and it failed on her Win 11 machine.    It was installed with no issues on my Win 10.
I've sometimes had issues installing it on Win 10, too.  But they were tied to the Windows installation database, not DB2 per se.

What error(s) are you getting?

I did not take a screenshot of the error.  I sent her a video to try some steps.   I'll update this today or tomorrow.

Thanks for helping
Hi,

Windows 11 does not show up on the Db2 11.5.6 System Requirement List yet. Db2 11.5.6 is the newest version and  fixpack for Db2 LUW.
Note that Windows 11 is brand new (released June 24, 2021 ) and many software companies are still running tests on their software on W11 and might not have released support notices yet.
Make sure you install Db2 on Windows by running the install with "Run as Administrator". That is mandatory to let the install run smoothly. ;)
If you get any errors using that method then take a screenshot or write it down and post it here.
I have not tested it myself yet. ( I have not gotten hold of W11) but due to backward compatibility it should work (as long as W11 has no major changes in security ;) )

Regards,
    Tomas Helgi

Thanks.

Hopefully, I can get back to you today.
Good morning:

This is the error.
