Do you have OLE fields, and are you doing anything with them? &nbsp; Displaying, Editing etc.<br><br>The error message your are getting usually pops up when an OLE server (a program like Paint), doesn't pop-up in a timely fashion.<br><br>OLE linking to some extent still relies on the old DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) format.<br><br>Jim.

<p>Hi</p><p>I have a split Access database solution where I am suddenly getting the following error. What might cause this? I have added new code to update 5 single records but am not sure if this records.
