For Android, there's usually only one official release from Google. https://developer.android.com/studio
Others might work as well if you wish, as they're easier to use (targeted at consumers, so easier to install and use). https://www.bluestacks.com/

There's no alternative for iOS as it's a closed system. You'll have to get a spare iOS device for testing.
You aren't testing Android connecting to wireless if you use virtualization/emulation, you're testing a virtual connection to the host.
You can use Microsoft Visual Studio and Xaramin to test iOS but you will also need a Mac to emulate.

When you start the Android virtual machine, it's already connected to your WiFi (assuming that's your only internet connection). If you use LAN networking, just unplug the cable, and have the WiFi internet working.

Software

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations. Computer software consists of programs, libraries and related non-executable data (such as documentation). Computer software is non-tangible, contrasted with computer hardware, which is the physical component of computers. Software written in a machine language is known as "machine code". However, in practice, software is usually written in high-level programming languages than machine language. High-level languages are translated into machine language using a compiler or interpreter or a combination of the two.
