How to refer to a table in Access VBA

Don't know how to refer to a table in Access VBA,  I need to add information to a table from a form,  it would look like this:

DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec

Table.Paid = Form!Paid

To my knowledge, you can also refer to the TableDefs collection:
Dim db As DAO.Database
Set db = CurrentDb()

Dim tdf As DAO.TableDef
Set tdf = db.TableDefs("myTable")

Dim rs As DAO.Recordset
Set rs = tdf.OpenRecordset(dbOpenDynaset)
