Need to sync a folder with OneNote on Windows 10

Need to sync a folder with OneNote on Windows 10.

At my client, I was told, "Open OneNote and sync with this folder."

What exactly do I do to make this sync? I do indeed have access to OneNote.

Also, I see a Server details, with Server Name and an SID.

Do these server details have something to do with syncing with OneNote?

If possible, open OneNote desktop or Win 10 version. Right click the name of the notebook and click to Sync>Sync now. Or navigate to OneDrive, where the notebook is likely stored and sync there

Hi, I need you to step back ad explain where in OneNote to find the name of the notebook. And is this MY notebook or the one I am told to sync with?

If the notebook is not open, navigate to the File>Open menu. Do you see it listed? I am guessing that your notebook is the same as the one you want to sync with. In other words, it sounds like someone is sharing a notebook with you and adding information that you want to both see. Is that correct? Also, if they have shared it, you will get an email with a link. If not, have them resend!

I have my own notebook (never used) and I have a link for the team. So, they are distinct notebooks. How do I handle this?
