Seeking best practices advice
What is the best practice for naming controls on MS Access forms and reports?
Based on my experience, I give specific (non-default) names to controls under these two conditions:
- There is event code for the control
- The control is referenced in code
I give this advice to power users and developers. I'd like to know if this advice has been documented or would like to know what guidelines other seasoned professionals use.
