How to install a vSAN License Trial Version

How can I install a trial vSAN license in my existing vCenter 7.0 environment without jeopardizing my current vCenter license.  The trial license is for 60 days and I need to keep my environment intact with as it was prior to applying the vSAN trial license.

The VMWare site has a free trial upgrade but I am concerned that once the trial runs out my environment will stop functioning.

This is the link to the VMWare site for the vSAN trial license.

Are there ways to avoid my concern?
