When Trying to Migrate(Storage VMotion) Powered on VM from one VVOL to another VVOL
Failed with Error:
The virtual machine did not migrate. This condition can occur if vMotion IPs are not configured, the source and destination hosts are not accessible, and so on. Action: Check the reason in the event message to find the cause of the failure. Ensure that the vMotion IPs are configured on source and destination hosts, the hosts are accessible, and so on.
and sometime
Virtual machine relocation can fail for a number of reasons, including network outages, insufficient disk space, and so on Action: Consider the task related to this event, evaluate the failure reason, and take action accordingly
When Trying to Power ON VM
Error is
A general system error occurred: Launch failure The VM failed to resume on the destination during early power on. Module MonitorLoop power on failed. ThrowableProxy.cause Module MonitorLoop power on failed. The VM failed to resume on the destination during early power on.
Now am there with Dell & VMware on same ..looks like some VVOL config limitations on Dell Power Store started due to use of a host which is not recommended here

Update is: ITL (initiator Target Lun) presentations and Host Group Limitations
The workaround is to remove the hosts from the host group. however, actual fix is to be discussed with RnD team and same will be documented and shared by DELL EMC
This is why vMotion will fail.
