asked on Business that will repair Mac laptop LCD screen
I have a 2017 15" MacBook Pro 512GB 2.9 GHz i7 with a defective screen.
The serial number for this laptop is C02V60QQHTD8.
When I took this laptop to a Mac store they quoted me $575 for a replacement LCD screen and $100 for labor which comes to a total of $675 plus tax for replacing this defective LCD screen.
So I'm hoping to find a person or business who will be able to replace the LCD display on this Mac for less. I've heard the media reports that Apple is now allowing genuine Apple parts to be provided to local repair shops and individuals so they can perform their own repairs instead of these repairs only being able to be done through Apple.
I live in the San Francisco/San Jose, CA Bay Area but will also be willing to ship the laptop to an out-of-the-area repair shop if necessary.
What are some businesses I can use to replace the LCD display on this Mac laptop?
This question was posted in addition to the other question since in this question I am interested in finding a business that will repair the Mac laptop and in the other question I am asking for places where I can purchase the part myself and then provide it to the person or business who will be completing the repair for me.
