Trying to determine which CU Patch level to bring Exchange to to prep for move to Office 365

Been awhile since I have supported MS Exchange. We have an initiative to prep for a move to Office 365 in the Cloud.  Our Current Exchange environment is Exchange 15.1.276.2 sitting on MS Windows 2016.  In looking at Exchange Server build numbers and release dates | Microsoft Docs I am trying to figure out the patch level and how many I can skip to bring us current enough for such a move.

Can someone please shed some light.

Thanks in advance.

You can skip them all. So says Microsoft.

Take a backup. Upgrade .NET. Upgrade your CU.

:)  Nice, have you done that from experience to jump that many versions or rather patch levels?

Thanks for all your feedback, appreciate it, any other words of wisdom as it seems we have an Exchange cluster - yes, new to this company and my last exposure was just a single instance of Exchange.  Thanks in advance.
Experts Exchange is like having an extremely knowledgeable team sitting and waiting for your call. Couldn't do my job half as well as I do without it!
