PPP adapter RAS IP address causing DNS connectivity issues.

Server Essentials 2016 VPN IP address showing up in DNS causing connectivity issues.  The VPN is functioning fine, but internal workstations connecting to the server are now having connectivity issues because they are getting the PPP adapter RAS IP address instead of the Local Network interface IP Address,  I have added the registry settings from this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/name-resolution-connectivity-issues and restarted the services (not a server restart), but for some reason the RAS IP address keeps showing up in DNS causing issues.
