How do I switch on Bluetooth?

I am trying to turn on Bluetooth in my Windows 10 Pro X64 desktop.   How do I do this?   There is no option to switch it on in Control Panel.

Hi Doc,

Control Panel
Network and Sharing Center
Change adapter settings

You should see a Bluetooth Network Connection, something like this:

User generated image
Right-click on it and select Enable. Regards, Joe
in the right or bottom of the task bar, there is the framed square, when clicked it opens a gadget, one of the option is to enable bluetooth by clicking if it is not already lit.User generated image
or you can use windows key + A
Bluetooth should be one of the buttons at the bottom.
It might be possible that it is disabled in the BIOS ....
i would first make sure it is enabled in the bios
if so, then make sure the latest drivers are installed for it (check device manager)
if that looks good, go to settings -> devices -> bluetooth & other devices to see if it is enabled there and finding anything
Are you sure the hardware supports Bluetooth?

Maybe your desktop doesn't come with Bluetooth and you have to install an additional Bluetooth card first.

I checked the BIOS.   There is no reference to Bluetooth.   It is a very old computer.
Then you probably don't have bluetooth support on the computer.  You can buy a USB adapter for it.  But you can't turn on what's not there.

When you ask questions, it really helps to provide a make and model of the device you are working with as that will often tell us a lot about what it can and cannot do.

Isn't that what I said?  "You can buy a USB adapter for it"
Isn't it what I said too?

I suggest marking all answers mentioning the Bluetooth adapter as Yes! This is my solution.
Joe provided a link to what the person can purchase to solve their situation.
