Where can I go on YouTube to watch a tutorial video demonstrating a battery replacement for an iPhone 6s Plus (Model A1634)?

Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am getting ready to make a purchase soon for a battery replacement for an iPhone 6s Plus (Model A1634) from Amazon using the following link https://www.amazon.com/s?k=apple+iphone+6s+plus+model+A1634+battery+replacement&ref=nb_sb_noss once I identify the right one to purchase from their selection.   Looking ahead, I am wondering if there are any multimedia tutorial links on YouTube which demonstrate the necessary steps for accomplishing this goal given my exact iPhone,  iPhone 6s Plus (Model A1634).

Any shared YouTube tutorial link or links germane to the specific needs explained above will be greatly appreciated.

In the meantime, I will look forward to reviewing everyone's feedback.  Thanks again :-)

Hello Everyone,

Thank you very much for your suggested links.  Once I get home after work, I will thoroughly review each one.

if you never did such replacement work on handhelds, i suggest to be very careful, and if you do not want to buy the tools - better turn the device over to a service that will do it for you

Hi Everyone,

After reviewing the well-put-together videos with respect to the removal of the old, defective iPhone battery, I am fairly clear on everything except the adhesive strips.  How should they be treated or used when getting ready to insert the new iPhone battery?  Should they go on the base of the area of the bay for it or should they be applied to the base of the battery first, then, onto the base of the bay or storage area?

            Thank you.

Thank you very much, Jackie Man, for answering my follow up question.  Just couple more things.  When I get the new battery, which has been shipped, will it be already fully charged and ready to go?  If not, is there any special charging instructions which will need to be carried out for it to be fully charged or functional?

George
Most new batteries for smartphones will be partially charged in factory before they are shipped.

For a new battery, you have to calibrate it after install via proper initial chargings for maximizing its performance.
