Trying to upgrade ESXi Host from 6.5 to 7.0. Consistently getting Hardware Incompatibility Insufficient locker space to store profile image.

okay well I got some disappointing news for you
USB AND SD CARD INSTALLATIONS OF ESXi 7.0 are no longer supported and deprecated because they get corrupted!
So rethink and do not continue with an upgrade or you will get into difficulty with a failed OS.
so you need to install to SSD HDD or NVMe or SATA DOM

Ultimately Im trying to create a vSAN 2 node cluster, but have to upgrade the distributed switch and this particular sever is incompatible with the switch upgrade. Currently the switch is 6.5.0 needs to go to 7.0. This server is incompatible at ESXi 6.5.0 for a 7.0 switch version.
