asked on Pocket sized AM/FM radios with flexible external antennas
I live in a valley area surrounded by mountains.
When I use my current AM/FM radios while walking around outside I get poor reception.
However, the radio reception on my car radios is perfectly fine.
So I'm looking for pocket-sized AM/FM radios with flexible external antennas that extend outside of the radio that will help improve reception. Are there any such models available that have the antenna built into the headphone jack wire?
I'm hoping to find such a radio on Amazon.

can you listen to the radio on your smartphone? that seems the best option to me.
for your requirements to work, you need - a pocket size radio + antenna booster circuit + a good antenna
this will be susceptible imo to any movement you make, resulting in interrupted music....
