When my laptop use to start up I would get a random photo provided by Microsoft of some random pretty picture of a location located somewhere in the world. After waiting about 15 seconds test would appear asking you "Where is this?" or some question like that? If you clicked on the question "Where is this?" then text would appear telling you where in the world the location
in the photo was located.
Now after a recent update a beautiful photo is displayed on startup of a random location around the world, however a prompt is never displayed telling me where the location of the photo is located. Instead now I am given two prompts. One to login
as a user or to alternately log in as an administrator.
Is there a way to have Windows perform a quicker startup. Like specifically no longer bother displaying a random photo, and just automatically letting me log in as an administrator? What I am driving at here is to try and get a faster startup time from the OS. The whole feature of displaying a random photo seems like it just slows down the OS on startup, and at the same time accumulatively waste about 30 second of my life when I have to start up my laptop.
