How to handle traffic between the two sites from geographic locations?

This is what we want to solve for:

1. We have an ecomm site in the US done in Java

2. We have an ecomm site in Canada done in Woo

If a Canada customer comes to the US site, we want to redirect the customer to the Canada site and vice versa.

Amazon does something like this. I think there's a dropdown that customers use. I've also seen popups on some sites saying you're on our XYZ site and click here to go to our 123 site.

Any other ideas on how to do this?

Wondering if the drop down is a good approach.

Do you have a link to your idea and how it works?

Thanks. I'll let my manager know.
I'm not saying that's the best, or only approach, and would likely need to be included in the protocol someway.
He'll figure it out.
