I have already asked this question

I have virgin cable to my property


I have tested the speed from my Switch using a virgin tester and the speed is 960 Mbps down

If I connect a laptop to the SAME SWITCH using a LAN cable, the speed is 850-900 Mbps down- as expected (One thing to note: If Microsoft Teams is running on the laptop the speed reduces to 350 Mbps - absolutely no idea why)

This shows the network is capable of delivering the correct speed to networked devices

My main laptop (Powerful Dell M6800) - fully updated with Windows 10 pro, shows a network speed of around 350 Mbps

Before anyone replies with the obvious stuff - I have tried all the obvious solutions and checks, trawled Google till my fingers bleed etc...

Can any one offer a suggestion as to where to look for the cause of the loss in speed please
