Where can I purchase online a recharge chord for an iPhone 6s Plus (Model A1634)?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

Our iPhone 6s Plus (Model A1634) charges only when the recharge cord is bent or twisted.  The recharging cord itself does have a tear in the insulation toward the tip connecting to the port of the iPhone 6s Plus and is covered with electrical tape.  Given the obvious indications, I have to lean toward the recharging cord causing the quirky charging issues of the iPhone 6s Plus which brings me to the crux of this question.  Where can I purchase a recharge chord for an iPhone 6s Plus (Model A1634)?

Any link or links provided in response to this question will be greatly appreciated.  I look forward to hearing from everyone.

              Thank you.

If any charging issues are happening because the lightning cable doesn’t go in far enough due to dirt or pocket fluff stuck inside the phone, you may need to have it cleaned. Apple Stores generally will do this for free in a booked service appointment.

Thank you, both, for addressing my question.  Just one more thing.  With respect to the brick which connects to the main outlet, will a special one need to be ordered or can we continue to use our current one?  The voltage output of our current one indicates a range between 5v and 9v.  But, I am not entirely sure what the voltage output requirement is for an iPhone 6s Plus and I can not seem to locate it on the back of it either.  The brick I am referring to interfaces the USB end of the chord while the other end connects to the iPhone.   I am sure you both already know what I am talking about though.

You do not need a new charger. As long as your current one supports output of 5V 1A, you should be fine.

Does the charger itself need to be Apple certified or will any charger that supports an output of 5V 1A work?

Thank you :-)

George
Technically, any charger that supports an output of 5V 1A will work.

Of course, if your phone is of crucial importance to you and you want to be 100% safe during the charging process, DO get a certified one.

For your information, I am using

20W USB-C Power Adapter now to charge my Android phones and tablets.

Using the link of https://www.amazon.com/Apple-MQUE2AM-A-Lightning-Cable/dp/B07CPS16L4 provided by Jackie Man, I was able to easily order what is needed.  Additionally, I want to thank Peter for his helpful cleaning tip for the iPhone 6s Plus.

Thank you, both, for your shared input to my question.  As always, it is very much appreciated.
