Notes taking app common to ipad pro and Samsung S7

I currently write most of my notes in goodnotes ipad pro.

Now I have a situation where the notes has to been written by others. But they do not have ipad pro. So they cannot write on goodnotes/.

I have a spare Samsung s7 tab (recent model from Samsung). I can share this tab with them.

Now my question is, is there a common note taking app between Samsung and Apple so that I can import that notes on to my ipad. Once I import that notes through any app, I can then copy and paste it into my goodnotes (with edits where required).

So is there any app for taking notes in Samsung and then be able to import into ipad app.

I have both Apple and Samsung pencils. I should be to write/notes and then move between Samsung and Apple.

I am not looking for converting to pdf and then importing. I need it notes/editbable form.

Interesting idea!

However, each app typically has its own proprietary native format, there isn't an easy way to import notes from one app to any other.

Therefore, it is very likely that you need to switch to another note-taking app (like Metamoji Note or Ghostnote) which have both iOS and Android versions.

You can try to manually copy and paste between the new note-taking app and Goodnotes app, but you might be able to copy text only. Handwriting notes and pictures are unlikely to do any copy and paste as they are in proprietary native format.

I'd agree with Jackie Man .. you're in a bit of a dead-end with GoodNotes .. if there is not an Android AND iOS version of the app you're using you will NOT be able to copy editable hand-drawn notes or sketches between apps.  All these apps have proprietary handwriting encoding systems which are not interchangeable.

You should look at OneNote (https://www.onenote.com/) as it is one of the few apps that has decent handwriting and drawing support and works on iOS, Windows, OSX and Android.

The only other alternative I've used and could recommend is Evernote (https://evernote.com/) which does have an INK feature which supports handwriting and sketching but its not a key strength of that app.
Metamoji Note has not been updated in several years and I've never used it and cannot rate it.
Ghostnote does not appear to have handwriting support - http://www.ghostnoteapp.com/

Thanks all for the support.

Ok i will simplify my question and ignore using goodnotes for my further purpose. I plan to see if I can avoid purchasing another ipad for this purpose.

My notes will be written from youtube channel.Students write these notes for me. Once they give me the first cut, i  make changes/enhancements to the notes. The students will write on the app suggested by you experts on my Samsung S7 tab.
I will then download the same app onmyIpad. Open their notes

Kindly list apps which can be used in both Ipad and Samsung S7 tablet.

What i plan to do is, make my scribles/corrections on the alternative app on my ipad.

I will rewrite the whole stuff, in final form, in my goodnotes, later.

Thank you for all the help.

Appreciate saving some money for me.
