Should I set up RD Gateway server in domain controller or App server?
Hi,
On this network, there are several iMac computers and a couple of Windows 10 computers.
Everyone accesses files thru Goole Drive currently and I need to set up a local server system where users would access files on Windows file server from their office iMac and windows PCs.
Some users will need to access files on the file server from home iMac/MacBook/Windows laptop & desktop computers. For this, I need to set up RD Gateway Server.
I like to accomplish these tasks by setting up HyperV server with two virtual machines- one VM for Active directlory/DC and another VM for Application/File Server.
My question is which VM would be best to set up RD Gateway Server and Terminal Server.
To save money, I like to purchase just one Windows Server 2019 Standard license.
