Prevent Outlook new email notification messages from dominating screen

I receive a lot of emails throughout the day.

Is there any way of preventing the Outlook new email notification messages from dominating the screen?

When these new email notification messages appear within the lower right corner of the Windows 10 OS they prevent me from clicking on things behind or close to this notification message such as scrolling down on a scrollbar on the far right-hand corner of the screen unless I close these messages.

I really like receiving these new email notification messages; however, I would like to make it so that the Outlook new email notification messages that appear in the lower right-hand corner of the screen won't monopolize or dominate this part of the screen so that I will be able to click on things that appear around these messages.

How can this be done?

Does anyone else know of any ways to customize how this notification appears on the screen so as to not block certain parts behind it or to make these new email notification messages transparent?
As Seth pointed put, disabling is one way. You could see whether the notifications themselves provide a configurable options/settings

What steps do I need to follow to see whether the notifications themselves provide configurable options/settings?
when they pop-up, see if they have a settings, or options....or any configurable behavior other than clicking on the notification and opening the message.

The old-style notification window collecting notifs is still available. It stays open until you close it, can be moved around (position is kept after closing until Outlook is closed),  and triggered by rules (which might be easier than using VBA).

What are the differences between the old-style notification window & the modern notification style window?

Do you have any URLs you can refer me to that describe how to set up this type of notification?
