Thunderbird gmail account stopped loading emails
Thunderbird gmail account stopped loading emails,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,worked good before.
Can you give us more details? Which Thunderbird Version, under which OS is it running? Is it setup as iMAP or POP3? can you connect to GMail via your web-browser & see your mail there? Also "stopped loading emails", what exactly do you mean with that?

Dumb question: Do Have to download and install openssl?
You asked, "Do Have to download and install openssl?"
If you type in openssl at a command line prompt + get "openssl not found", then yes, you must install openssl.
Sensible OSes (Linux, MacOS) have openssl installed by default.
I suspect WSL does too.
If you're running Windows, you'll almost surely have to find an openssl port + install it.

I've seen this from time to time. Usually because the imap server has too many messages in the inbox. 3 - 4k will usually do it
Moving or deleting messages will usually fix the problem (if that's what it is). Anything below 3k should restore flow, Again if that's the problem

Provide a cut + paste of all openssl commands you issued, as running this command set instantly show exact problems, so posting your output will allow someone to point out the problem.
