asked on Need to remove a hidden patch from Windows 2012 Server
We are having problems removing KB5002099 from our Windows 2012 server environment. The patch is not in the option to uninstalled installed patches from programs and features but it is listed as successfully installed patches in the update window.
If we try to run wusa /uninstall it comes back with an error that it is not installed. If we manually run the KB5002099 we get the message that the patch is already installed. We strongly believe the patch is installed because our users are getting the error message of a lock database file, file in use, etc. when trying to open an access database.
How can we uninstall a patch that we do not see listed anywhere?
