Safari browser not working in iPhone but other browsers are working

Hi Experts!

Curious thing just an hour ago: my safari doesn’t navigate and no website is displayed, not even its configured home search engine Google. I checked the wifi and the mobile wifi of the phone and it works fine. I went into other apps that uses internet and works (YouTube, WhatApps, etc.). Yet Safari doesn’t, whatever you type in the address bar, just stays there.

I downloaded Firefox from the same “problem”iPhone and tested it and it has internet access (I am placing the question while Firefox).

What’s going on? How can I fix this?

Have you tried a reboot? Something that can fix problems. Have you also checked everything is up-to-date?

As @rindi mentioned, likely simple fix will be to reboot + retest.

There are many reasons why this might be happening + the likely solution... even after debugging will be to do a reboot, so start with a reboot.

Yes is so strange, after reboot it didn't work, but I ketp typing i and it did search but slowly. I rebooted and still slow searching - yet Firefox is normal or rather, faster. This is so strange for iPhone (is it?)

I assume after a while it will get normal, but can be happening; Firefox chrome omega woks fine, safari, super slow ??? - possible cause???

Have you updated your iPhone with the latest iOS version?

It has normalized but I tried to identify where unsuccessful.

To answer your question is Yes.

Do you mean it is slow to do a search in Safari app?

If yes, go to Settings -> Safari and change the default search engine

Yes, it was slow to do a search in Safari app; I woul tupe what i wanted to search in the address bar (the search engine was predefine a Google) and would take long time if not at all. However, I go over in the same iPhone to the apps Firefox, Omega, DuckDuckGo and Chrome browsers, and all when texting the same thing, worked fine.

All browsers had Google Search engine.

As I said in my entry, it has normalized (don't know how). To close the question, will accept ur last entry disable private relay if it happens again.
