Woocommerce - sorting doesn't work
We don't know why 'sorting' doesn't work.
1. We regenerated the products. Didn't work.
2. If I go here, I see the dropdown. If I change it here, the page refreshes and I see the correct sort, but this is a preview page
3. Checked functions.php and I don't see custom code there
4. Don't think it's controlled from here
5. We see the URL changing but the sort doesn't work
apple-trees/?product_orderby=name
or
product_orderby=rating&product_order=asc

Nothing happens with the sort when we're on the page and sorting. Where else to check

We've already done #1 and #2. Updated plugins. No errors in browser's console.
We also deleted the sort element and recreated it.
I have the original site from offshore and theirs work. The one we're revamping isn't working.
We can try recreating a whole new page with 2 products and see if that works.

Your screenshot shows plugins need updating?
If all of that is ok as you say, work through the documentation https://theme-fusion.com/documentation/avada/elements/woo-sorting-element/#howto because it will be something in the set up if you are not seeing any custom code for this.

Yes, I came across the same link. Offshore code works. We redesigned ours and ours isn't. We're going to try the solution in that link today.

Where do I find those options? Where in woo?
WooCommerce General Options in the Avada theme panel, look for “WooCommerce Shop Page Ordering Boxes” ...

That was it! We spent 2 hours on it yesterday and we wanted to just hide it if we couldn't figure it out. How would anyone know this is a bug!

Step 2 would be checking if there is a javascript issue by looking at the browser console. Click the f12 key and run the page.
If both of those check out and you still have issue, then look for plug in settings. Try and recreate a new page from scratch where you have products and the same sort, check if that works.
