We have moved to 0365 and we create users on our on-prem active directory and when we do a DeltaSync on the sync server, the users get synced to 0365.
One of the staff had changed his surname From ACarter@myorg.com to AEdwards@myorg.com. Therefore, I changed the following on the user attributes in the Active directory user properties and ran a delta sync on the sync server.
mail : AEdwards@myorg.com
mailNickname: AEdwards
Name: Amy Edwards
SMTP: AEdwards@myorg.com
smtp: ACarter@myorg.com
sAm Account Name: AEdwards
User Principal Name: AEdwards@myorg.com
Now on the 0365 outlook client, the email address has changed to AEdwards@myorg.com, and all looks ok.
On the Samsung mobile phone S10, I removed the old account ACarter@myorg.com. I went to Add account – Exchange- and put the new staff email address AEdwards@myorg.com and password
The emails are coming through the new account. But the calendar is not syncing.
Not sure if I am missing anything. Any help to resolve this would be great!

Which one is the primary SMTP?
Do you see the calendar when the user login to OWA?
