Just a simple chart wirh Modern Chart and MSAccess

Hi,

I have through the years used MSAccess and MSGraph for to show statistics of an application. For the moment, I am trying to replace MSGraph with the Modern Chart built-in Access feature. What I want to do is just to present pre-calculated numbers. Not to show counts or sums. For example - done in MSGraph:

Is it possible to do this?

Thanks in advanced.

Ms Graph is much more powerful and with a lot more features.

So, I ought to stay with that MSGraph? Still, I found it hard to get the charts to look nice. Shall I rely on AutoSizing or force size of Chart, fonts, positions of Datalabels etc??? Today, it is in in between. That is the problem with a rich set of features.

You can always try 3rd party Graph engines.. especially if your application is 32bit is quite easy to add one
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

Yes 32bits.
So far, I have managed too not have an install, just a folder with an .accde. I have only one 3-party in a "System folder of the application". Do know if there is a graph engine that is so easy to add?

RmChart is a great charting solution..I think with a bit of Googling or Internet Archive you should be able to track it down

Hello John,

I have look-in RmChart. Since the application is used by a couple of large companies/organisations, I need a component with support and updates following MSAccess and Windows = future secured. It does not need to be a freeware. Have you any suggestions?

Hello John,
Since I have to focus on other things, I will later dig into codejock Chart. They have a 3 page installation guide. Therefore, I stay with MSGraph and will try to get i work better.

Many thanks for your advice

Best regards,
