Cisco SG 200-26P 26-Port Gigabit PoESmart Switch
Hello Experts:
I have a Cisco SG 200-26P 26-Port Gigabit PoESmart Switch. I reset it to factory, was able to logon and change the password. I'm using this device to teach myself how to configure switches. I changed the IP of the switch. I'd like to upgrade it to the latest available firmware and create 3 VLans on this device.
Looking for someone to point me in the right direction.
Thank you.
Paul

You'll need to download the 1.4.11.5 firmware version from the above link (I think you downloaded the wrong one).
Here is a very good walkthrough on configuring VLANs via CLI:

Exact same error. sx200_fw-14115.ros
You may need to upgrade to a different version first. You can upgrade to v1.4.11.5 from v1.3.5.x, so if your current firmware is less than that, you'll need to upgrade to v1.3.5.x first.
Have a look at the release notes here:
https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbss/sf20x_sg20x/release_notes/R_1_4_11_5_RN.pdf
The Change in Flash File System section explains how to proceed. It is important you follow the guide as it can brick your switch if you get it wrong.

Thank you Craig, I'm making progress.
I used Filezilla to create a FTP Server and to upload the Boot code. It will not connect. Suggestions?
Firmware Version (Active Image): | 1.3.5.58 |
Boot Version | 1.0.0.1 |

I'm not sure that the switch supports FTP for upgrade. The upgrade guide suggests HTTP and TFTP only...

I'm up to Firmware Version 1.3.7.18, now receiving an error - SW code file is over sized
Boot Version is still 1.0.0.1.
Boot Version is still 1.0.0.1.
Aha
you got this error because the switch boot version is Old and not compatible with the firmware version so you have to upgrade the boot version before performing the firmware upgrade, You can Find the newer boot code loader at the same Zip file of the firmware that you downloaded.
this link shows you how to troubleshoot this error

Thank you for the all for the Assistance.
I don't think the selected answer actually answers the question.
Yes
Because the solution comment did not solve the switch boot loader version.

sx200_boot-13506.rfb and sx200_fw-1413.ros.
When I try to install the firmware I get an error
Copy: Illegal software format
I'd like to use the command line interface to configure these switches.
