Setup has detected that one or more virtual drives are directly attached to physical devices you might need to reconnect the virtual drives to those devices after the upgrade is complete

I am trying to upgrade Windows 2016 Server to Windows 2019 Server (Hyper-V host), and I am getting this notice: "setup has detected that one or more virtual drives are directly attached to physical devices you might need to reconnect the virtual drives to those devices after the upgrade is complete".

Need help with this.

Do any of the VMs use passthrough disks?

Passthrough disks are not generally needed or recommend.

Do you have any external USB drives that are accessible to any VMs?  That may be the issue.

Are there any internal physical drives (not .VHDX files) that are connected to any of the VMs?
