When are the RCA and Optical audio outputs hot on my TV ?

When are the RCA Audio out ports on my TV hot ?

Are they hot all the time ?

Can I get audio out from the TV even when the sound-bar is enabled ?

Do they go down if I have the sound-bar enabled ?

What about the optical audio out ?  Does it contain live audio all the time ?

Thanks

On a chat with LG support, the tech stated no.   "... Only one output can be enabled at one time."
Now I need to go test.

First Test
Sony Bravia  KDL-48W600
  RCA out               ->   No
Optical out           ->   Maybe  (chirping / Chopping sound can be heard,  maybe my DAC [digital to audio converter] is not converting correctly ?)
Manual states that the system incorporates DTS

Head-Phone jack  ->  Yes,  and does not disable soundbar.  <-  This maybe the solution for the Sony(s).
F/U  -> Tested w/new DAC that is supposed to be DTS compliant, and it works.
   * Appears that the optical audio out is hot all the time (w/ or w/o Sound-Bar enabled)

As Dr. Klahn mentioned, the easy way is just to test this... as many TV manuals are... incomplete...

After testing on several of my TVs,  it appears the Optical audio is hot all the time on every TV that I tested.
The other ports are like with the tech stated, only one hot at a time.  with the exception of the headphone port and then its not consistent.
I Tested on 3 Sony Bravia  KDL series and a brand new Toshiba.
If anyone else can test some other brands and/or models, please post

Thanks
Sid.
