asked on Programs to scan network and determine which Win servers haven’t been patched
I'm looking for programs or utilities that will scan all Windows servers within my organization's network and then provide me with a report of which servers are missing the latest Windows updates.
What programs, utilities, or cloud services will do this?
I'm looking for the least expensive options possible since my organization doesn't have much money for things like this.

granted it works the opposite way where systems check in rather than being scanned but you can run reports to see what is missing
aside from that, you can look at tenable. we use the cloud scanner to examine everything. only need to deploy a small appliance on your network to do the scan and it communicates everything to the cloud. a bit more thorough than windows updates since it also scans for other software vulnerabilities
