HDMI Cable
You bought hdmi cable but what you need is a display port cable something like below:
Looking at the side of the laptop, the video port on your laptop is labeled "HDMI" and not "DP" or "DisplayPort" so it appears that it is indeed HDMI. Without knowing which specific model you have it's hard to be sure of that -- but it looks like a standard HDMI connector. This is confirmed in this side image of the 11e Yoga model. (Take that with a grain of salt, because there are multiple models in the 11e series and the resemblance is not perfect.) I suppose it could be mini-HDMI, but it doesn't appear to be judging from the relative sizes of the USB and HDMI ports.
To confirm or deny that, look at the corners of the port. If two are angled, it's HDMI. If three are square, it's DisplayPort.
If you can give us more information on the specifics of the problem it will be helpful. Are the plug and the port about the same size? Different sizes? Does the plug look like it should go it, but fails to fit? Does a standard HDMI PC-to-monitor cable fit in the port?

Maybe you received the wrong adapter. Make a photo front facing the golden connector of your adapter and a closeup of the laptop. If it's angled as Dr. Klahn mentions, try connecting it by jiggling it slightly. Do not apply excessive force, if it's hdmi it should fit in your laptop. Maybe something is stuck in the port on the laptop. Can't see that now from your picture.
What do you mean it doesn't fit? Does it not push into the slot all the way? Was it plugged in upside down?

I have tried many times but I can't fit the HDMI cable in the graphic card.
Agree about the DP/HDMI mix-up.
Unfortunately your photo of the adaptor plug doesn't help, HDMI and Display port plugs look the same from above (although the two cut outs visible in your photo and the press button to release the plug do strongly suggest that's a DisplayPort plug). Can you post an "end on" image (as if the camera is in the socket looking at the plug coming towards it)? Agreed most likely is a DP/HDMI mix-up it's easy to do and your supplier might have sent you DP to VGA. Otherwise your plug or socket may be broken.

The cable you have is easily identified as a DP cable (from the photo in your last post). You received the wrong item.
It's a very blurry photo but you can just make out the latches on the displayport cable end.
I think it says "wide frame" on the left hand lens of the specs.

Can you please send me a link to the website for this adapter?

Doesn't make sense, If they have already bought the one at start of question why don't they just contact the seller and tell them they sent the wrong one? Cost $0 since vendor's error.

bc, I don't want to pay extra few bucks for postage.
I don't think a reputable seller would ask you to pay postage for their error. Ask them and see what they say.
It's their fault - they would just have to send you what you ordered. You just need to send one mail and not have to pay anything additional. FWIW

I already paid extra three dollars plus a .50 cents surcharge because it was in a no postage necessary envelope.
You can always leave a review for the seller expressing your experience. I never had any seller refuse refund or sending the correct item for free if it's their mistake.
