Trimming and separating text into separate excel columns

Hi, I am trying to solve trimming text from one cell and either separate text separated by a backward slash \ into separate columns.  For example, in column B, the text after the first three characters will be deleted - I solved the problem using the following '=LEFT(B2,3)'.  But I could not solve the following:  in column C, the text between the backward slash will be separated into separate columns.

I created a before and after and if you can share a Microsoft access or Excel article that I can review to solve my problem that will help out a lot. I really appreciate any help you can provide.  Example: Excel_Worksheet.xlsx

Am I missing something? Why didn't we use Data>Text to columns with a delimiter of the /?
