What is best Windows Xiaomi smartphone backup software?

What is the best Windows (10 and with future perspective 11) software to create (full or partial) backups of recent Xiaomi smartphones (10S and 8 Pro)?

I don't use any XiaoMi built-in software for the sync up. Instead, try use a cloud-based service software, such as Google Drive/ Contacts to sync your smartphone stuffs. It's easy and convenient.

I am sorry, my mother-in-law died some days ago, so I could not participate...

Thank you very much for your answers!

The best option for me would be to backup "everything" like I can do with my PC (I use Aomei for complete system backups). I have already understood that a full backup on Android is only possible via rooting which I would like to avoid.

Currently I am looking for an encrypted cloud service that uploads all Android photos as I would not entrust Google photos with all my most personal pictures.

Google offers also to backup the settings of my phone via Android. Is this risky in terms of security concerns?

Also I have recently learned that Xiaomi devices have an own backup option. Would this backup option backup "more" than one of the programs nickg5 has pointed to? (From these it seems that MobileTrans could be worth a try, but I have also already tested several apps like Dr. Fone etc. which are all limited in their ability to save app data / settings.

As a result of this I assume that with a not rooted device I would have to make app backups from purchased apps from within these apps. Especially all the Android settings and app settings are very time consuming when restoring a phone, this is why I was initially aiming at a full backup.

Many years ago I had a rooted Xiaomi Redmi 3S and for this I used Titianium backup. But I think for serveral reasons (guarantee, security matters) it is better not to root my current phones. Also I would need to help to do this the proper way.

To sum it up:

1) My contacts, emails, calendar events are synched from a kolab server via active sync, so I do not need a backup there, they are always "safe".
2) pictures could be backed up by an encrypted cloud service like iDrive or the like (recommendations welcome, I could also open another question on that as some have an emphasis on sharing, some on backup, some create a Windows drive, some not, some are expensive...)
3) A "half-way-backup" could be done either by Xiaomi internal means or for example MobileTrans
4) Android settings via Google backup
5) WhatsApp allows end-to-end backups in the meantime, so no tool is needed for reasonable backups
6) Telegram is in the cloud, this works fine all the time by just re-registering
7) Specific app settings can be backuped only individually for (some) apps

Is my understanding correct so far?
