15m-dr0011dx occassional BSOD with no minidump or event log v21H1

HP Envy x360 15m-dr0011dx laptop.  Upgraded to new WD SN570 NVMe drive with clean OS install 21H1.  It has a tendency to overheat so I have propped it up in back.  Temps are normal with it raised up.  Now it has started to BSOD so quickly I cannot even read the error message.  It fails to log the event or create a minidump file.  I have never seen activity like this.  All drivers are installed and updated (Using HP Support Assistant) and visually reviewing in device manager.  I have installed no software on the computer beyond the WD Dashboard and CPUID for monitoring the temps (Not even additional browser or antivirus). I have updated the firmware on the M.2 WD SN570.  I knew the temps were a problem because I could feel the heat in the keypad directly above the cpu fan.  That is no longer an issue with it propped up.

Since you "fixed" the overheating have you been able to run it for any sensible length of time?  Suspect this is again a thermal problem but possibly more local with either CPU cut out (thermal paste needs replacing) or a microfracture somewhere on the board near a heat source which is expanding and separating an electrical connection both of these occurring this time before the heat problem becomes noticeable due to the radiant heat you were seeing earlier.
This is screaming hardware, not operating system.
is the system set to make minidumps?  if not look here :

Yes, on the minidumps.
Talked to WD support and they suggested I install using new media.  Which I did, and went 21H2 this time.  It was working great as we closed up shop.  This morning it won't even detect the NVMe drive installed no matter what I do.  Might be a bad drive.  Will contact WD support first and then install a another new NVMe drive.

I have not tested the western digital nvme outside of the HP laptop yet, but I replaced it with a Crucial nvme drive they guaranteed compatible and it works flawless.   so either a bad drive or compatibility issue.
