Why lift and shift SBS to a new server? That's asking for trouble (former SBS MVP here).<br><br>If it is needed, then use the Hardware Independent Restore feature in ShadwoProtect IT Edition (get a 1 week license).<br><br>It will be painful. SBS is tightly integrated and that first boot can take an hour or more after the lift and shift.<br><br>Once it is done booting, you can tweak the network setup to put the correct IP back in and reboot. Things should come back fine after that.<br><br>What backup product?

We used windows inbuilt SBS backup to rebuilt the new server and added raid drivers to build the new machine.<br><br>but now we have gone back to the old server machine, but the outlook is giving error on connection, but the OWA is working.<br><br>Also the SBS on start up doesn't show its default domain abc.local in the network and sharing centre but it shows network 2 instead, it gets fixed when we run fix my network wizard.
