Steps to remove Exchange 2019 mailbox from AD account

There is an Active Directory account that has an Exchange 2019 mailbox associated with it.


I need to be sure that only the Exchange mailbox is removed and that the Active Directory user account is not deleted.


What are the steps to remove this Exchange 2019 mailbox from this Active Directory account?

Now that this mailbox has been disabled what are the steps to re-enable this mailbox if I ever decide to do so?

There is only one Exchange server within my organization.

I have clicked on the three dots and have then clicked on the Connect a mailbox option.

However, the mailbox that I previously disconnected doesn't display.

What are some other methods for reconnecting this disconnected mailbox?
