Using streaming services on a different Internet provider...

The user has an Internet Provider.  When their daughter comes to stay for several days, the daughter logs into HBO and TCM with the daughter's account.  The user and their daughter both have the same Internet provider.

If the user switches to Verizon FIOS, and the daughter comes to visit and signs in to watch TV, will there be a problem since the user and daughter NOW have different Internet providers?

Thanks.

If you switch internet providers, that may mean you still have one internet provider unless you keep the current one and then get fios.

Even if you have what is today considered a slow speed like 50/Mbps, you should still be able to view two TV's Gaming will not be as good, but streaming does not take up as much bandwidth as people think. I used to have only 1.5Mbps and was able to use Netflix on one tv.

I would like to know what happens if the visitor uses their streaming service account on a different computer with a different Internet provider.  Will the different ISP be allowed by the main ISP.

The streaming service is not provided by the ISP so it shouldn't make any difference.

Dave - what about streaming services that ask for the subscriber to sign into a web page and identify their ISP?

Do these services recognize when a streaming service certified as above are used with another ISP?

A sign-in is normal for many things.  But I wonder about identifying your ISP since they can do that using the IP address you're coming from.  They don't need to ask you.

Is there a specific concern on a specific service your worried about. For example if you have YouTube TV which I have I can watch it on any ISP I’ve switched my eyes peas before and it didn’t make a difference or I can watch it a different locations on different devices. So I’m wondering if there is a specific concern and situation you were worried about that maybe it isn’t detailed her yet.
