FTP isn't the fastest, so whats the transfer speed you're seeing?

The PC is directly wired to the Nexus switch?

Client OS? If its Windows try WinSCP or Filezilla as client..

I am using filezilla from a PC on the LAN - not directly connected to the switch. Slow is one thing - this is worse than a tortoise riding on a snail.

Oh, thats extremly slow.

Just to make sure: you're using FileZilla client (not server). Maybe use WinSCP or even go to putty (Nexus should be able to use SCP)

Do you have a chance to connect directly to the Nexus?

What is the model of the Nexus switch?

What is the current version of code on the Nexus?

Doing this remotely.

What is the model of the Nexus switch? Standalone N9K-C9372PX with a Vpc connection to another - same model.

What is the current version of code on the Nexus?

7.0(3)I7(6)

Are you trying to copy the file via the Mgmt port or one of the in-band data ports?
